    Una higuera en medio de un bello trigal es el motivo de esta escena bucólica en la que la luz del ocaso del día y los nubarrones aportan un aire cinematográfico.

    A fig tree in the middle of a wheat field is the subject of this rural scene in which the light of the sunset and the storm clouds give the photograph a cinematic quality.

    Una baliza es una señal luminosa automática, generalmente sostenida por una estructura en forma de torre que guía a las embarcaciones, indicando peligro, dirección, canales y vías de aproximación marítimas.

    Esta fotografía fue obtenida en Puerto Banús, Marbella (Málaga – España -) y para aportar dramatismo a la imagen le apliqué un virado y un viñeteado durante el postprocesado.

    A buoy is an automatic luminous beacon, generally supported by a tower shaped structure which guides boats, indicating danger, direction and navigable channels in a body of water.

    This photograph was obtained in Puerto Banus, Marbella (Málaga – Spain -) and to make the image more dramatic I applied a tone change and a vignette during post processing.

    Hinojosa del Duque (Córdoba) y sus alrededores son un verdadero placer para los amantes de la fotografía.

    Aquí os traigo una fotografía que obtuve el pasado 19 de abril. No olvidaré la fecha, porque esa tarde pude escuchar por la radio del coche que el Cardenal Ratzinger había sido elegido sucesor de Juan Pablo II.

    Hinojosa del Duque (Córdoba) and its surrounding area is a true pleasure for any photography lover.

    Here is a photograph which I took on 19 April of last year. I won’t forget the date as that evening I heard on the car radio that Cardinal Ratzinger had been named as successor to Juan Pablo II.

    Wadi Rum es uno de los más bellos desiertos del mundo, gracias a sus rojizas arenas, y sus impresionantes montañas de arenisca con zócalos basálticos. Se encuentra al sur de Wadi Musa (Petra – Jordania – ) y muy cerca del Mar Rojo.

    El hechizante escenario de las aventuras de Lawrence de Arabia. La forma más habitual de explorar este bello lugar es en un todoterreno, conducido por algún beduino. La dureza del viaje bien merece la pena por sumergirse en aquel mágico mundo.

    Wadi Rum is one of the most beautiful deserts in the world, thanks to its reddish sand, and its striking sandstone mountains with basalt bases. It can be found to the south of Wadi Musa (Petra – Jordan –) and is very close to the Red Sea.
    The captivating setting for the adventures of Lawrence of Arabia. The usual way to explore this lovely area is an off-road vehicle, driven by a Bedouin. The harshness of the journey is worthwhile in order to submerge oneself in that magical world.

    Un bello alcornoque proporciona un marco ideal para esta fotografía de un cortijo del Parque Natural de la Sierra de Cardeña y Montoro.

    Las ramas del árbol y las piedras de la derecha actuan como referencia, proporcionando mayor sensación de profundidad.

    A beautiful cork oak tree provides an ideal frame for this photo of a country house in the Natural Park of Cardeña and Montoro.

    The branches of the tree and the stones on the right act as a reference, and so give a greater sense of depth to the image.

    En el postprocesado le apliqué un Filtro Amarillo, máscara de enfoque, un virado a blanco y negro Ilford Delta 400 Pro & 3200 y añadí los rayos de sol sobres las nubes.

    In the post process I applied a yellow filter, unsharpen mask, conversion to black and white Ilford Delta 400 Pro & 3200 and added the sunrays above the clouds.
