Una compensación positiva de la exposición habría permitido ver con mayor detalle la corteza de este magestuoso árbol. Por otro lado debemos tener sumo cuidado con los cortes. Recordar la regla 43 del Decálogo del Fotógrafo: “Existe un recurso fotográfico llamado Los Cortes que no debemos confundir con los recortes involuntarios.”
Tras una clonación para evitar el corte de las ramas de la derecha, y un ajuste de curvas por zonas hemos obtenido el siguiente resultado:
Positive exposure compensation would have allowed us to see more clearly the bark of this magnificent tree. Also, we should take great care with cuts. Remember rule 43 of
Photography Rules: “A cut exists as a photographic resource but this shouldn’t be confused with involuntary cuts”.
After cloning to avoid the cut in the branches on the right and a curve fit by area we obtain the following result:

En los paisajes debemos tener en cuenta la ley del horizonte e intentar que la línea que define el horizonte no esté demasiado centrada verticalmente.
In landscape shots we should bear in mind the
horizon rule and avoid the horizon being too vertically centred.
Durante el postprocesado le apliqué un ajuste de curvas por zonas, una máscara de enfoque, un coloreado de las nubes para aportar volumen y un viñeteado.
Una carretera discurre entre la llanura hacia las altivas montañas… muy bonita, sí señor.
During post processing I applied a curve fit by area, an
unsharp mask, a cloud colouring to provide volume and a
vignette.
A road flows between a plain towards the imperious mountains… very nice.

Roberto supo hacer coincidir la carretera con uno de los puntos de interés de la Regla de los Tercios, definiendo un claro punto de fuga que invita al espectador a recorrer la vía hacia las montañas.
Roberto has managed to coincide the road with one of the points of interest of the
Rule of Thirds, defining a clear vanishing point which invites us to follow the road towards the mountains.
En este caso apliqué un ajuste de curvas por zonas, y aumenté la saturación del color.
