Este bello lugar lo podemos encontrar a pocos kilómetros de Córdoba (España). Encinas y alcornoques conviven con el cultivo del cereal y con unas bellas formaciones rocosas.
This beautiful place can be found only a few kilometres from Córdoba (Spain). Holm oaks and cork oaks coexist with the cereal crops and with lovely rocky formations.

Como deseaba utilizar bajas velocidades de obturación y disponía de una cegadora luz de la tarde me ví obligado a acoplar el filtro de densidad neutra y el filtro polarizador esférico al AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED.
Este es el resultado de aplicar una clave alta a un paisaje.
As I wanted to use a slow shutter speed and I had a blinding evening light I was forced to attach a neutral density filter and a spherical polarizer filter to a AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED.
This is the result after applying a high key to a landscape shot.
Durante el postprocesado le apliqué un viñeteado con grano digital.
During post processing I applied a vignette with digital grain.

Las colas de los pantanos al atardecer son lugares muy fotogénicos.
En esta composición busqué la convergencia en el centro del tercio inferior de la imagen otorgando el protagonismo a las nubes que son las encargadas de proporcionar la sensación de profundidad, junto con el agua embalsada.
The tailends of reservoirs at sunset are very photogenic places.
In this composition I tried to achieve convergence at the center of the lower third of the image so giving prominence to the clouds which provide a sensation of depth together with the water of the reservoir.
Utilicé trípode para poder usar una velocidad de 1/60sg sin correr riesgo de perder nitidez y una abertura de f4.5.
Al agua del pantano le apliqué un Desenfoque de Movimiento y para enfatizar el dramatismo de las nubes utilicé varias capas de ajuste superpuestas de Filtro Fotográfico.
I used a tripod so that a speed of
1/60sg could be used without running the risk of losing clarity and an aperture of
f4.5.
I applied a Motion Blur to the water and in order to emphasize the dramatic clouds I used various superimposed adjustment layers of Photographic Filter.

Desde pequeño me atrajo esta pieza de hierro o bronce que se ponía en las puertas para llamar golpeando con ella. En la era de las Tecnologías de la Información cada día existe menos espacio para estos rudimentarios sistemas de mensajería instantáneos… pero me siguen cautivando.
En esta composición simétrica, he intentado otorgar todo el protagonismo a las texturas del hierro y la madera.
Sólo hay que “llamar” para abrir la “puerta” elegida que nos dará acceso a ese nuevo trayecto vital.
From a young age I have been attracted iron or bronze door knockers. In this age of Information Technology there exists less space for such rudimentary systems of instant messaging but they still fascinate me.
in this symetric composition I have tried to give prominence to the textures of the iron and wood.
We only have to “knock”to open the “door” to access a new and vital path.
