Playa del Algarve de Carlos Jurado

Carlos Jurado nos envía una fotografía realizada en una playa del sur de Portugal con su Airis PhotoStar 631 para que sea analizada en la sección Fotoclínica.

Una imagen que me seduce por su simplicidad, el color y las formas.

Da la impresión de que estamos viendo una fotografía obtenida con un dispositivo de visión nocturna de las que utiliza el Ejército, pero se trata del resultado de utilizar una alta sensibilidad. Esa alta sensibilidad ha añadido “ruido” a la imagen.

Carlos Jurado has sent us a photograph of a beach in the south of Portugal taken with his Airis PhotoStar 631 for it to be analyzed in the Fotoclinic section.

A seductive image for its simplicity, the colour and the forms.

It gives the impression that we are seeing a photograph obtained with a night vision device as used by the army. However, this is the result of using a high sensitivity which has added “noise” to the image.

Una pena que haya quedado tan subexpuesto el mar , pues con un definido mar en el fondo la imagen habría ganado mucho.

Buscando un mayor equilibrio compositivo desplacé hacia la derecha La Luna y por tanto corregí las trayectorias de las sombras proyectadas. También intenté atenuar el ruido pasándo la imagen por el Neat Image.

It’s a shame that the sea is totally underexposed as a well defined sea in the background would have improved the image a lot.

To find a better equilibrium to the composition I displaced the moon to the right and so also corrected the paths of the shadows cast. I also tried to lessen the noise using Neat Image.
